Wren's Nest

Joel Chandler Harris wrote the Uncle Remus stories while an editor of the Atlanta Constitution. He lived in this house, which was converted to a museum just a few years after his death. This is a Sears house, believe it or not. Read more about it here: www.wrensnestonline.com/ . I encourage any residents or visitors to Atlanta to visit it. And, just down the street, you can watch Krispy Kreme donuts being made and have a hot, fresh, now donut.

My daughter has been working with the Wren's Nest and a group of teens on editing a book. That book will be unveiled durnig the Decatur Book Festival on Labor Day weekend. Put it on your calendars!
