Purple Dino

These kids were at the park with us on Sunday. I thought they were oh-so-cute!

If you would, critique this shot. I'm not happy with how bright the sand is. Does it look too bright to you? I played around with burning it to make it darker, but the overall shot then looked darker. Does it need to be cropped tighter? Thanks for your comments!

No criticism. What a great photo. As it downloaded on my screen, I first saw a cartoon-like dinosaur, with that image rapidly followed by two beautiful little girls. I take lousy photos and really envy you your ability to capture your children this way.

I think this picture is great. The sand is very bright but should be left rather than darkening the whole image. I don't think tighter cropping would help much but the focus is drawn to the centre anyway.
Maybe the picture would have been improved if it was taken from a lower angle (kneeling down) and therefore less sand in the foreground?

I think yo unailed it. The sand is a little hot - might tone it down a bit...I think there is enough light above to handle the level reduction. GREAT shot of the girls and love the purple dino. Cool. -T
