Sabbaday Falls

This is one of three water falls at Sabbaday Falls, which is along the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire.

Sabbaday Falls gets its name from a crew that was working in the area in the 1800s. The stopped work for the winter on Saturday, hid their tools for the winter, and decided to knock off on Sunday (Sabbath Day...Sabbaday). They never went back, but the name stuck. There are two more falls downstream from this one. I'll post a shot of it coming up.
