Autumn

A cold snap came through in the last week or two. For us Southerners, it was close to winter temps....below freezing in the morning, but up to the 50s during the day. Most of you know we're having a drought. I am seeing much more red in the trees this Autumn; I wonder if the drought is contributing to that?

This is the side yard of our home, looking toward our neighbor's (that's their van through the branches). While out playing soccer yesterday, I noticed the sun lighting up these trees and grabbed the ol' Nikon.
