Craning my neck

I like this view, but I'm not crazy about the crane being there.

Dappled Fountain

A fountain at an office building downtown. It's amazing what you find just wandering around.

Stump-ed

Sunday, September 19, 2004

Hello!

More from San Diego...the Zoo. We wanted to feed the giraffes, but this guy was too busy eating something else, so we didn't get to. Oh well.

PhotoFriday: Domestic

My mother-in-law giving my brother-in-law a bath, long before I was born. This photo taken by my father-in-law. I thought this was the epitome of "domestic."

Rope Cross

I got to spend Sunday with my daughter, hiking and taking pictures. What a treat!
Do you like this better in color or B&W?

Sea Serpent

Part of a water park at a resort in Escondido, CA, where we stayed during a recent vacation. Water would shoot out of the "mouth" of the drgaon. Kids can change what water faucets open by putting a hand on a control panel. Pretty cool!

Post Post

Taken in Nassau in February, waiting for the water taxi. I was struck by the color of the post being almost the same as the water.

PhotoFriday: Simplicity

Is there anything more simple and uncomplicated than being a kid and enjoying a swing? Our family friend, enjoying summer camp.

Stamp

This is a photo of my nephew that I turned into a stamp look. Do you like it? I guess it's not really a photo anymore, but I kind of like the way his face is rendered.
