Lollipop

The Pavilion roller coaster in Myrtle Beach will be torn down after this summer. I was there the day before they opened this year. This is part of the structure. I'll be posting more in the next few days.

Rex Falls

A. and I hiked, in the dark, to this waterfall last night. We'd never been there before, so it was a little tricky. We had to cut our visit short, though, when a snake with a dangerous look decided to check us out. Even if it weren't a poisonous snake, A. was freaked enough not to stay. Oh well...another day!

Detail from the FDR Memorial. The water was all off...quite disappointing. For those of you that haven't seen it, there are 9 waterfalls in the FDR memorial. It's very impressive and a meaningful memorial, IMHO.
