Davidson Arabia

This is along a bike path at a park near us. The barn is off limits--private property--but is so inviting and tempting. When we were riding this day, there were a couple photographers taking shots. I didn't notice if they trespassed, but it sure is hard to resist.

Klondike Corners

A gas station on the way to a local State Park, where we like to ride bikes. This was inspired by NoTraces shot "Regular Visit". This store is still open, though. We bought beverages here after a long ride.

And, while my camera is being repaired, I'm revisiting some of the shots in the ol' archive. Should have 'er back in a week or so...lighter in the wallet, but reunited!

Fisheye Flower

My friend Scott surprised me by offering the use of his brand new 10.5mm fisheye lens yesterday. I'd never used one, so most of the shots are pretty weird. I did like this one, though. I used Nikon Capture 4.4 to straighten out the lines. Let me know what you think.

Bombs Bursting In Air

We just returned from a week at DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida. I realized I'm not a "family snapshot" photographer, which I need to work on! I got most excited about shooting the fireworks. The first night, I didn't have my tripod and tried shooting handheld at a 5 second exposure. This is one of the shots from that night. I'm pleased considering this was handheld for 5 seconds (f10, ISO400). I'll post more in the next few days. Thanks, Scott, for your consulting help!
