This is my mom, Grandma to my kids. She's wonderful, caring, loving, tireless. She blessed us by joining us on our vacation to New England in June, and was a trooper the whole time, never giving up or tiring out, no matter where we dragged her!

Mom, thanks for all you are and all you do and all you've taught and given and loved over the years. We love you!

Into The Unknown

A dirt road that led off the main road in North Conway, NH. The mystery of it intrigued our family, so we walked down the hill. Turns out there was no mysterious house or crazed madman, just a park. But, it was a nice little adventure anyway.

My mom accompanied us on our vacation back in June. We enjoyed having her along and she added to the fun. Here, she's with my daughter during a hike in Franconia Notch State Park, NH. Mom was a real trooper...hiking with us despite needing a new hip!

On Golden Pond

I finally took a few minutes to look through the photos from our vacation way back in June. I played with this a little bit in PS, using some of the "Regular Joe" effect, though not all of it. Obviously, I added some blur. Normally, I'm not a fan of blurring, but I think it adds a nice, soft, lazy, hazy summer feel. And I'm digging all the green!

By the way, this is the lake that the movie "On Golden Pond"; was filmed on....quite beautiful and peaceful. Visit if you have a chance! Check out Squam Lake.
