Stepping into Adulthood

My daughter's best friend celebrated her "sweet 16th" birthday recently. I did some pre-ceremony shots and then helped Julie with the formal shots. This was in the suite prior to K getting ready. In a symbolic part of the ceremony, she changes from tennis shoes to heels, signifying her move from childhood to adulthood.

Eyes in the Back of His Head

One of my daughter's classmates during a formal debutante ball the other night. He could only be dressed up and grown up for so long...then had to break out the shades! It was a great night.
