Moon Gathering
I took Bob's advice and tried some night shots. This was still dusk, taken in Galveston, Texas. I'm not sure I'll post the long exposure stuff. It's not that great! :-)

All Star
Today we finally were able to have Jonathan's birthday party, after postponing it a week because of Spring Break. It was an all-boy, sports theme party. We had basketball, soccer, tee ball, jai alai, tennis, horseshoes, and an obstacle course. This shot was just after lunch. Jonathan loves basketball, and he's a pretty good shot.
I used Chromasia's info on blurring and soft focus to adjust this photo. I'm not sure if I went too far. I'd be interested in feedback on that.

Negativi-tree
I took this on the way to Western North Carolina today. A gorgeous morning.
I used an "invert" command, suggested by this post at [daily dose of imagery]. I'd love to hear what you think of this "look" and treatment.

We've Got The Beat
More from The Ted. These guys were great, and there is a huge timpani just behind Homer (the mascot). From what I read, they are all students at Clark Atlanta University. We watched for quite a while, but we didn't get any free shirts :( .

Purple Dino
These kids were at the park with us on Sunday. I thought they were oh-so-cute!
If you would, critique this shot. I'm not happy with how bright the sand is. Does it look too bright to you? I played around with burning it to make it darker, but the overall shot then looked darker. Does it need to be cropped tighter? Thanks for your comments!

I Cannot Tell a Lie...
Spring in Georgia is gorgeous, and the azaleas aren't really out yet. The cherry trees are all in bloom, the Bradford pears are about done. Jonathan and I spent a couple of hours at the park on Sunday; I'll be posting shots from there for a while. I hope you don't get tired of the pretty trees! By the way, just a little sharpening on this. Colors are "as they were."
